    High-Quality Materials and Construction

    Installation Process for Wooden Fire Doors

    Door Frame Installation

    1. Preparation: The door opening should be prepared to ensure that the door frame is vertically aligned on both the front and side surfaces. The bottom of the frame should be 520mm above the building’s zero level line, with the frame embedded 20mm into the ground. If discrepancies arise between the zero line and the site conditions, the installation height should be coordinated with the building contractor.
    2. Fixing the Door Frame: After filling the door frame with cement mortar and allowing it to set, the frame can be installed. For a door height of 2100mm, six fixing points are required, evenly distributed along the vertical frame and secured with expansion bolts. The upper and lower points should be 200mm from the ends, with the middle points evenly spaced. For a door height of 2400mm, eight fixing points are required. If the wall consists of hollow bricks with pre-embedded fixtures, the location of the fixing points can be adjusted based on site conditions.

    Door Leaf Installation

    • Before installation, ensure that the wooden fire door leaf dimensions match those of the door frame. The upper hinge should be placed 150mm from the top, the middle hinge 260mm from the upper hinge, and the lower hinge 1080mm from the middle hinge. For door frames with a bottom frame and an opening height less than 1800mm, two hinges should be used for fixing.
    • Proper alignment is crucial. Determine the hinge positions on both the frame and door leaf, carving the hinge slots accurately. Avoid cutting slots on only one side (either the frame or the leaf). Use 5×40 screws for fixing, inserting the screws to one-third depth with a hammer before fully tightening with a screwdriver. Hammering the screws in fully in one step is not recommended.
